Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation Course - $295 for 2-day course (includes 4-hours CE elective credit)

The Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation is awarded to REALTORS® who have successfully completed the required education course. SRES® designees learn how to lead senior clients through real estate transactions and draw on the expertise of a network of senior specialists, such as CPAs, estate planners, lawyers, clutter and staging experts as well as community resources and services. The SRES® designation is the only one of its kind recognized by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. More than 15,000 REALTORS® have earned the SRES® designation.

During the designation course, you'll gain practical knowledge and techniques, including:

  • Key differences in housing options, from age-restricted communities to assisted living
  • Applications of the Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA)
  • Ins and outs of reverse mortgages
  • How to use pensions, 401(k) accounts, and IRAs in real estate transactions
  • Ways in which Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security affect real estate decisions of clients over 50
  • How to recognize and protect clients from mortgage finance and loan schemes that target borrowers ages 50+

Course is approved for 4-hours CE Elective credit.

2-day course will be held virtually through Zoom.  You will receive an email the day before your course with a Zoom link. Course manual will be shipped prior to class.  Shipping charge will be added to your total at checkout.
